TSU Student Dies In Hit-And-Run

A seventeen-year-old was charged with manslaughter in a hit-and-run accident. One was killed and two other were injured when D.P. ran a red light while trying to escape police last Tuesday evening. D.P. and a passenger were asked to step out of their vehicle at around 11.20 that night. The passenger complied and was detained by police, but the driver sped away. The woman killed was a twenty-seven-year-old law student and the other passengers are still under medical care. D.P. surrendered to the police on Wednesday, but no charges have yet been filed.
