Drunk Driver Causes Five-Car Accident

Two died in a five-car accident on the North Sam Houston Tollway. Fifty-five-year-old B.A. was found to have twice the legal amount of alcohol in his body at the time of the accident. As he approached a toll booth, he did not react quickly enough and ran into the rear of the car in front of him. One passenger in this car died on the scene and the other died later of his injuries in the hospital. B.A. is also in the hospital for his injuries but will be sent to county jail on two counts of felony intoxicated manslaughter when he recovers.

The legal blood alcohol limit for driving is 0.08%. Drunk driving greatly effects one's reaction time and ability to make decisions. People who choose to drink and drive should be held responsible for their actions. A Lubbock personal injury lawyer from our attorney has the skill and experience necessary to get your justice. If you or a loved one were injured in a drunk driving accident, contact a Lubbock personal injury attorney from our attorney as soon as possible.
